Peter Piot

Peter Piot, director of the London School of Tropical Medicine, served as executive director of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) from 1994 to 2008.  He also served as Under Secretary-General of the UN and has held high level positions with the International AIDS Society and the World Health Organization.
