Historian H.W. Brands recounts the life of former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.  Mr. Brands presents a comprehensive biography of the thirty-second president, recalling his childhood, his complex relationship with his wife Eleanor, and his presidency.  FDR's tenure in the White House is remembered for his New Deal legislation and his command during World War II.  This event was hosted by BookPeople bookstore in Austin, Texas.
