About the Program
Hasia Diner, professor and director of the Goldstein-Goren Center for American Jewish history at New York University, contends that contrary to popular history, Jewish Americans did publicly memorialize the Holocaust following World War II and prior to the Eichmann trial. Ms. Diner presents evidence in the form of literature, public displays, and song to support her argument. This event was hosted by the Museum of Jewish Heritage In New York City.
