From the International Summit of the Book, a panel entitled, "The Role of Cultural Institutions in Fostering the Future of the Book" featuring Carla Hayden, chief executive officer of Baltimore's Enoch Pratt Free Library and Ira Silverberg, literature director for the National Endowment of the Arts.   The panel is moderated by Harold Evans, former publisher and president of the book publisher, Random House.  The International Summit of the Book is hosted by the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
